There was 16 inches of water in the creek below Span 2 during this <br />investigation. Bents 2 and 3 were at the waterline and inspected with the aid of wading and probing. All visible elements were fully <br />inspected. A complete routine inspection was performed. <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br />A new routine map view was added during this investigation. See Photo 1. <br />DECK AND ROADWAY <br />There are diagonal and transverse cracks up to 0.75 inches wide spaced as close as 6 inches on center in the AC approach roadway at <br />both abutments. See Photos 2 and 3. <br />SUBSTRUCTURE <br />There is a RSP present along the base of Abutment 1 and there is broken concrete along the base of Abutment 4. The rock and broken <br />concrete do not warrant Element 256, Slope Protection. (See Photos 6 and 7 dated 03/25/2019). This condition has been previously <br />reported and no significant changes were noted. <br />There is a tree growing below the structure at Abutment 4 on the right. (See Photo 2 dated 03/09/2019). This condition has been <br />previously reported and no significant changes were noted. <br />There is approximately 2 cubic yards of debris accumulated below Span 4. See Photo 4. <br />SAFE LOAD CAPACITY <br />The load rating for this structure is being reviewed by SM&I Ratings Branch under Work Request No. 12540. An updated Load Rating <br />Summary Sheet will be archived when this review is complete.
