Both exhibit exposed rebar with varying
degrees of section loss. See Photo 8 dated 11/30/2022.
Throughout the intermediate diaphragms there are spalls up to 4 inches tall x 2 inches wide x 1 inch deep.
As this condition is in the diaphragm, no defect is warranted at this time.
Due to high water levels this element was not inspected during this investigation.
There are multiple vertical spalls/delaminations that span up to 6 feet in Girder 4 Bay 3 side all spans. There are similar
delaminations in Girders 2 and 3 in all spans that span up to 2 feet length of the girders. There is exposed rebar that exhibit varying
degrees of section loss. See Photo 7 dated 11/30/2022.
Non-Routine Inspection Element Notes:
UWI (05/28/2020): See Table 3 of the report from AECOM. There are 9 lineal feet (3 meters) of girder spalls with associated exposed
reinforcing with section loss. A hands-on inspection of exposed reinforcing steel was not possible by the diver.
