The residue does not appear to be a protective coating as noted in <br />previous reports. <br />There is a patch up to 24 inches in diameter in the AC overlay in Span 1 on the right side. (See Photo 2). The patch is sound. <br />There are transverse cracks up to 1.0 inch wide and spaced as close as 24 inches on center in the AC overlay. It is estimated that <br />this condition accounts for approximately 70% of the deck area. (See Photos 2 and 3 dated 11/10/2022). This condition has been <br />previously reported and no significant changes were noted. <br />In Span 1, Girders 8, 11, and 14 are supplemented. Girders 15 and 16 have been replaced. See Photo 4 dated 11/03/2016. <br />In Span 2, Girders 7, 10, and 14 are supplemented. <br />Girders 9, 10 and 13 in both spans were drilled during this investigation. <br />The following checks were observed: <br />Span 1: <br />*Girder 1, there is a check up to 0.125 inches wide x 0.25 inches deep x intermittent full length of the span on the exterior face. (See <br />Photo 6 dated 11/10/2022). There is a similar condition in Span 2. <br />Span 2: <br />*Girders 8 and 9, there is a check up to 0.25 inches wide x 1.75 inches deep x intermittent full length of span.
