See Photos 4 and
5.
There are two longitudinal cracks up to 0.01 inches wide x up to 8 feet long with light efflorescence in the soffit of Span 2 near
Abutment 3 on the right. (See Photo 4 dated 06/08/2022). This condition has been previously reported and no significant changes
were noted.
The deck was treated with methacrylate sometime before the 2016 routine inspection.
Treated deck cracks are predominantly longitudinal up to 0.08 inches wide with some pattern crackiing up to 0.03 inches wide and all
spaced as close as 12 inches on center throughout the deck. The southbound lane is most severe.
The treated deck cracks have edge spalling up to 0.125 inches wide x intermittent full bridge length in both the northbound and
southbound lanes. See Photos 6 and 7.
There is a longitudinal crack up to 0.09 inches wide x 14 feet long in the soffit near the right edge of deck near Abutment 3. (See
Photo 1 dated 06/26/2018).
