Similar pattern cracks
are present near each abutment and spaced as close as 6 inches on center. All cracks exhibit edge spalling up to 0.08 inches wide.
These cracks can be seen within the bare portions of the deck and are also reflecting through the thin overlay. (See Photos 6 and 7).
This condition has been previously reported and moderate changes were noted such as location of cracks and edge spalling.
There are transverse cracks up to 0.02 inches wide spaced 12 inches on center and some with light efflorescence in the soffit near
the abutments. (See Photo 8). These cracks mirror the cracks on the riding surface. This condition has been previously reported and
no significant changes were noted.
This quantity represents the thin chip seal overlay that is 0.25 inches thick and located within the travel lanes only.
There is minor surface loss of the thin overlay in the eastbound lanes. The majority of the overlay has worn off in the westbound
lanes exposing the RC deck. (See Photo 5 dated 06/09/2022). This condition has been previously reported and no significant
changes were noted.
(58) 4DECK RATING =
