TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN ENCROACHMENT PERMIT FOR THE <br />INTERSTATE 5/PLYMOUTH ROAD AND RYDE AVENUE RAMP RELOCATION <br />1. All work shall be constructed in accordance with the <br />approved plans, specifications and estimate and the <br />Cooperative Agreement executed by the County on <br />April 5, 1994. Noted exceptions are as follows: <br />Construct a 0.90' asphalt concrete section for Alpine <br />Avenue, unless section calculations can be submitted to <br />substantiate otherwise. <br />Cold plane (0.00' to 0.05' depth in 25 feet) the <br />beginning and end of the resurfacing work on Plymouth <br />Road and Ryde Avenue (in lieu of a transitional taper). <br />Asphalt Concrete (Miscellaneous Areas) shall be provided <br />behind the transitional curbs on Plymouth Road and <br />Ryde Avenue (Stations 1650 and 1662). <br />Pedestrian barricades shall be installed on the westerly <br />side of the Plymouth Road and Telegraph Avenue <br />intersection. <br />2. Notifications: <br />An advance notification letter shall be sent to the <br />affected residents, advising them of the general scope <br />and impact of the project (including traffic controls). <br />County representatives shall be invited to the pre - <br />construction meeting. <br />A five-day advance notice of road closures shall be given <br />to the County and the Stockton Record. <br />3. Call for final inspection and corrective work: <br />A request for final inspection shall be made to County's <br />representative prior to the acceptance of the contract as <br />complete. County will forward a written correction list to <br />State within five working days. <br />All work within County rights of way must meet with the <br />approval of County. <br />4. This permit is not valid until permittee has obtained <br />permission from affected property owners, Reclamation <br />District No. 1614 (storm drain), City of Stockton or other <br />affected parties to perform the proposed work. <br />C:\WP50\WORK\CALTRANS.CON <br />
