Callahan
Subject: Encroachment Permit
Tim,
Here is the information you requested:
East Bay Municipal Utility District(EBMUD) is seeking a renewal or issuance of an encroachment permit for traffic
control activities on San Joaquin County roadways.
EBMUD operates a 72-inch raw water transmission pipeline from Clay Station Road to Cord Road, terminating at the
EBMUD Mokelumne Aqueducts. On a periodic and/or emergency basis, EBMUD will perform operations and
maintenance, and inspections and monitoring of pipeline appurtenances such as valves. EBMUD staff will need access to
vaults and other appurtenances along various roads and road shoulders.
These activities could occur at any time, and EBMUD would like to have a permit on file for necessary traffic control for
the period beginning 1/1/2014 and ending 12/31/2014. We would seek to renew the permit annually for subsequent
years.
Please reference permit No: PS-1200481.
Thank you for your assistance.
Bill Pulsifer
Maintenance Supervisor
EBMUD-Stockton Aqueduct Section
Office: 209-946-8007
Mobile: 209-649-8029
Fax: 209-463-9751
1
