Minutes of January 13, 2015 Meeting: <br /> The County and WID met to discuss the irrigation crossing failure on Woodbridge Road just west of the <br /> Windwood Subdivision. The three 36" CMP's are damaged due to metal corrosion beyond repair and <br /> will need to be replaced.The replacement will need to occur before March to eliminate conflict with the <br /> irrigation season.The County and WID have agreed to the following; <br /> - The replacement pipes will be Class IV Concrete pipe <br /> - The roadway will remain open in both directions during construction <br /> - The headwalls will not be replaced <br /> - The replacement will be performed in 2 weeks <br /> - The work will occur in two stages <br /> The County has agreed to perform the following; <br /> - Provide a traffic control plan and provide traffic control in advance of the work area. <br /> - Provide WID with a no cost encroachment permit <br /> - Place and provide final paving of the crossing during each stage of the work <br /> - Pay% of the pipe cost estimated to be$5,736.00 <br /> WID has agree to the following; <br /> - Provide all labor equipment and materials to remove and replace the existing culverts, with <br /> the exception of final paving <br /> - Provide temporary traffic control at the work site. ( K-rail,temporary delineation, flagmen <br /> etc.) <br /> - Pay%of the pipe cost estimated to be $5,736.00 <br /> - Complete all work and bring the roadbed to compacted final subgrade at each stage <br /> The County would need to pay the vendor directly for the County's share of the replacement culverts to <br /> avoid needing Board Approval.An encroachment permit will be required and the actual work must be <br /> coordinated with the County's Road Maintenance Division. <br />
