Special Conditions for -3- <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> Zone guidelines or is protected by an existing obstruction such as a tree or utility pole. Utility <br /> vaults shall be located a minimum of 4'-0" from edge of pavement. <br /> 25. County roads shall be kept clean from mud and debris at all times along the access points and <br /> work zone areas during entire project. All standard roadway striping and signage shall be clearly <br /> visible, maintained and restored throughout the construction zone during and after the project. <br /> 26. In addition to standard dust control measures, streets shall be maintained in a clean condition, <br /> free of dirt, mud and debris during construction activities. The contractor shall provide daily, or as <br /> needed, street sweeping using a modern mechanical or vacuum-assisted street sweeper. <br /> 27. The contractor shall not conduct construction operations in rain or heavy fog conditions. <br /> 28. AT&T must coordinate and cooperate with the County for the construction of AT&T facilities and <br /> County roadway improvements. <br /> 29. AT&T has 80 working days to complete work with 60 calendar days notice given by County prior <br /> to the beginning of 80 working days. <br /> 30. AT&T is responsible for SWPPPs/BMPs and TCP while AT&T at the site during work. AT&T is <br /> required to restore the construction site to the original conditions. Cost incurred by the County for <br /> restoring BMPs as required in a timely manner will be borne by AT&T. <br /> 31. Trench Backfill must be in accordance with County's current standards. Existing <br /> roadwaystructural sections shall be replaced in kind. AT&T shall perform compaction tests and <br /> share results with the County. <br /> 32. AT&T must remove AT&T and joint poles and backfill holes with acceptable native materials that <br /> are suitable for use as engineered fill for roadway, i.e. free of organics, debris and deleterious <br /> materials; and be compacted to 90% relative compaction. <br /> 33. AT&T will be responsible for delay claims from County's contractor as a result of AT&T's failure to <br /> complete AT&T work within the allotted working days (80 days). <br /> 34. Coordinate work with contractor. Contact Thienan Nguyentan at 209-953-7422 to coordinate. <br /> 35. Notify adjacent property owners if driveways will be affected. <br /> 36. No work during school peak drop off times: 6:00-8:00 am and 2:00-3:00 pm. <br />
