BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> R-08- 203 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE <br /> FOR THE ANNUAL AVENUE OF THE VINES HALF MARATHON <br /> WHEREAS,Woodbridge Winery, hereinafter referred to as APPLICANT, has applied <br /> for permission to temporarily close Kennefick Road between Woodbridge Road and Collier Road; <br /> Collier Road between Kennefick Road and Buds Road; Buck Road between C®N'ier Road and <br /> Underwood Road; Underwood Road between Buck Road and Bruella Road; Bruells Road between <br /> Underwood Road and South Orchard Road; South Orchard Road between Bruella Road and <br /> Dustin Road; Dustin Road between South Orchard Road and Woodbridge Road; and Woodbridge Road <br /> between Dustin Road and Kennefick Road for the Annual Avenue of The Vines Half Marathon at the <br /> Woodbridge Winery on Sunday, May 18, 2008,from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: and <br /> WHEREAS, the Woodbridge Winery Avenue of The Vines Half Marathon is an annual event; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is anticipated that the Applicant will be requesting permission to temporarily close <br /> to traffic certain County roads in and near the Woodbridge Winery for the Annual Avenue of the Vines <br /> Half Marathon in future years. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that it is the finding of the Board of Supervisors that, <br /> as authorized by Section 10-2700 of the Ordinance Code of San Joaquin County and the request of the <br /> California Highway Patrol, it is necessary for the protection of the pubac to grant permission to <br /> temporarily close Kennefick Road between Woodbridge Road and Collier Road; Collier Road between <br /> Kennefick Road and Buck Road; Buds Road between Collier Road and Underwood Road; Underwood <br /> Road between Buds Road and Bruella Road; Bruella Road between Underwood Road and South <br /> Orchard Road; South Orchard Road between Bruella Road and Dustin Road; Dustin Road between <br /> South Orchard Road and Woodbridge Road; and Woodbridge Road between Dustin Road and <br /> Kennefick Road for the Annual Avenue of The Vines Half Marathon at the Woodbridge Winery on <br /> Sunday, May 18, 2008, from 8:00 a.m, to 12:00 p.m., and on the third Sunday in May in future years. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action shall be subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. That an Encroachment Permit shall be obtained from the Department of Public Works for the road <br /> closures. <br /> 2. That the performance of any procedure related to this Permit shallconstitute an acceptance of all <br /> the provisions contained herein and failure on the APPLICANTS part to comply with any <br /> provision will be cause for revocation of this Permit. <br />
