SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR <br /> THORNTON ROAD, NORTH OF EIGHT MILE ROAD <br /> ENCROACHMENT PERMIT <br /> 1. Maintain traffic controls for Thornton Road, north of Eight Mile Road. Traffic control delays shall <br /> not exceed 15 minutes. Two-way traffic shall be maintained during non-working hours. During <br /> working hours, two-way traffic control shall be maintained with one lane open and appropriate <br /> flaggers. <br /> 2. Final paving for trench repair or road resurfacing shall be per Caltrans' specifications and shall <br /> not occur between November 1 and March 31 unless authorized by the County. <br /> 3. All pavement conforms shall be ground to provide a flush surface. Shoulder areas shall be <br /> brought up to the finish grade as directed by the County. <br /> 4. Contractor shall establish existing roadway and drainage grades within the construction area. <br /> Any repair to roadways and adjacent areas shall match existing grades. Any proposed grade <br /> changes shall receive prior approval from County. <br /> 5. All work shall be done under a "Flashing" red light. Notify County Dispatch @ 468-3074 prior to <br /> turning signal light to "Flash" mode. <br />
