This Survey includes information acquired over a period of
20 years of surveying. A brief narrative is as follows:
A field survey commenced in January of 1974. This survey estobIIshed the position of many iron pipes and iron pins within
'EL RICADO' tract. The found iron pipes and pins were not referenced on said tract map filed in Book of Maps and Plats. Volume 6
at Page 4. San Joaquin County Records.
I held the record angle. as shown on the ' Plat of EL RICADO' . of 88. 58' 00" to establish the bearing of the centerlines of Harold.
Jesse. David and Lillian Avenues as N17.28'28 "W. I used the found monuments to establish the other street centerlines. The stationing
and offsets are shown. I established the centerlines to be in agreement with the found monuments as much as possible. I feel that
an offset of plus or minus 0. 03' is an acceptable error in position for this survey. Therefore, an acceptable range on a 20' offset
monument would be from 19.97 ' to 20. 03' . Then I established Blocks 5.8 and 9 of 'EI Ricado' as shown. The lengths of lots lines
shown are a resultant proportion and will be different from the plat. The deeds executed by the State of California in this area were
most likely written in reference to the platted length. Any person using this survey may desire to obtain said deeds. I do not think
it is necessary to include the deed dimensions along with the surveyed dimensions on this survey.
The State of California has acquired property for the Crosstown Freeway in portions of Blocks 5.6.8 and 9 of 'EI Ricado' .
SURVEYOR ' S STATEMENT
THIS MAP CORRECTLY REPRESENTS A SURVEY MADE BY ME OR UNDER MY DIRECTION IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
THE LAND SURVEYORS' ACT AT THE REQUEST OF THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
