As requested, a
representative of our firm performed field density testing at the site on May 8, 2002. Six tests
were taken by the nuclear probe test method on pipe backfill. A sample of the material tested was
brought to our laboratory for determination of the maximum density-optimum moisture content.
The test results, summarized on the attached table, conform to the compaction requirements of
the project specifications.
We have employed accepted engineering and testing procedures. However, we do not undertake
the guarantee of construction, nor do we relieve the contractor of his primary responsibility to
produce a completed project conforming to the project plans and specifications.
If you have any questions about this report,please call our office.
Respectfully submitted,
KLE=EDER,
Ron Heinzen, G.E.
Senior Principal
REL:lr
Attachment
ST02RO33 ©2002 Kleinfelder,Inc.
K' 'iii"'' 7).17 2825 ':a.,"iV,tie STVE6i, i)!( ' :icr ,L"". i`J'.7' n- -) i
