93122344 EXHIBIT "A" -- That certain real property situated in the State of California, County of San Joaquin, described as follows : All that portion of the following described real property lying within Sections 8, 9, 15 and 16, Township 1 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. PARCEL ONE: Beginning at the common corner of Sections 10, 11, 14 and 15, Township 1 North, Range 5 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian; thence running along section line between Sections 10 and 11, North 0010' West 3925 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the Northeasterly bank of Black Slough; thence meandering up said Northeasterly bank in a Northwesterly direction to its intersection with section line between Sections 3 and 10 ; thence along said section line, South 89040' West 5000 feet, more or less, to common corner to Sections 3 , 4, 9 and 10; thence along the section line between Sections 9 and 10, South 0010' East 2627 feet, more or less, to the quarter section corner on line between Sections 9 and 10; thence along the East and West 1/2 section lines in Sections 9 and 8, South 89036' West 6282 . 7 feet, more or less, to the Easterly bank of Whiskey Slough; thence meandering said bank upstream in a Southeasterly direction to the head of Whiskey Slough; thence following along a line parallel to and 30 feet Westerly from the West base of Whiskey Slough Levee to its intersection with the center line produced of Honker Lake Levee; thence Easterly 40 feet, more or less, to a plug at the intersection of said Whiskey Slough Levee with the center line of Honker Lake Levee; thence following along the center line of said Honker Lake Levee in a Northeasterly direction to its intersection with the section line between Sections 14 and 15; thence North 0010' West 185 feet, more or less to the point of beginning. (Course true magnetic variations 17030' East) Except therefrom above the North 141 . 75 acres of the South 1/2 of Section 9 and 8 lying East of Whiskey Slough as is particularly described herein and containing after deduction for said exception 1042 . 60 acres . Also except therefrom a strip of land conveyed by the Holt Manufacturing Company, a corporation to the San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley Railway Company, a corporation by Deed dated June 13, 1898 and recorded in Book "A" of Deeds, Vol . 96 , page 353 , San Joaquin County Records.
