Asphalt Concrete (0.17' resurfacing) shall be placed in one (1) layer with pavement reinforcing fabric placed on the existing <br /> z surface. Asphalt Concrete (0.25' resurfacing) shall be placed in two (2) layers of approximate equal thickness with pavement <br /> reinforcing fabric placed between the two layers. <br /> 2. All existing trees, shrubs, fences and other frontage improvements are to remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br /> 3. Contractor shall scarify native soil adjacent to pavement to intersection radii to a depth of 6", Sta. 8+40 to Sta. 8+60 (Right) on <br /> River Road and blend shoulder backing material prior to compacting. Payment for blending shall be considered as included in the <br /> price for Shoulder Backing. <br /> 4. All Earthwork (except for final shoulder grading) shall be completed prior to placing final lift of asphalt concrete. No Shoulder <br /> Backing material shall be deposited or drifted on the final lift of asphalt concrete surfacing. <br /> 1 � 5.
