GENERAL NOTES <br /> 1. Surplus native material within the limits of <br /> Clearing and Grubbing shall be excavated and <br /> used as shoulder embankment throughout the <br /> i project. This material shall be placed and <br /> compacted prior to hauling Imported Borrow. <br /> Full compensation for excavation and placing <br /> excess material, complete in place, shall be <br /> considered as included in the unit prices paid <br /> for various contract items of work and no <br /> r further allowance will be made therefor. <br /> Const. material <br /> Imported Borrow material shall be a cohesive <br /> material selected for its ability to resist erosion. <br /> Limits of Clearing and Grubbing The Resistance Value (R-Value) and Sand <br /> Equivalent requirements shall be waived for this <br /> and Earthwork (Miscellaneous Areas) material. <br /> • , 3. All earthwork, except for finish grading of <br /> 4' 4' 12' 12' 4 4' shoulders and placement of shoulder backing <br /> 22' Pavement Reinforcing Fabric materials, shall be completed prior to placing <br /> 9 finished course of Asphalt Concrete. <br /> 4.
