and barricades.shall beremovedfromthejobsitedaily. <br />STRUCTURES:. <br />A WaIls of structures shall be such.quality and strength thattheywill resist all pressures ~d will not crack or be deformed in such a way as to create ah~d.or maintenance problem at any time.Tfierefore,the minimum structural requirements for cpncrete pipe placed tmder county road rights-Of-way shallconformtothe'fo1l6V1'ingAmmcan Association of Stat~Highway and transportation Officials (AASHTO)designations. <br />1.For c6ncrete pipe up to and including thirty-three inches (33j inside-diameter.extra strength concrete conforming to AASIITO Designation M <br />170M.. <br />.'2..For concrete pipe tbirty-six inches (36)inside diameter and larger,reinforced concrete pipe conforming to AASHTO !{esignation M 170M Classm._ <br />3_Plastic pipe ccnfDrmingtoAASHTO DesigmfiDn M294. <br />B.All concrete piPe joints with County road rights-of-way shall be sealed against leakag-e and/or.infi1tration with robber gasket in conformance with Section <br />65-1:06 of the California Standard Specifications,or with other methods ~may be permitted under the Special ProvisiOllS. <br />C.Cast-in-plac~concrete pipe,vitri:fied clay pipe,spiral welded steel pipe,or corrugated aluminum alroy pipe shall not be installed within the County road <br />rights-of-way lm1ess specifically so stated in the SpeciBJ.Provisions,and only under the conditions as provided... <br />D.All str-uctures to be buried within the County rights-of-way shaH be set at such elevations as to allow minimum covera.,creof thirty inches (30")to the <br />centerline of the roadways and twelve inches (12")attbe bottoms of bon-ow ditches each side of the roadways.The depths of structures shall be established <br />be10w a fiat pI8!1e extending across the rights-of-way.no part of which shall extend above 1heelevations stated above;man.r.i.oies,Iampholes,~alves,etc.not <br />included.Future surface elevations shall be anticipated as nearly as possible and structure el~ations shall be established for future adjustments'accordingly. <br />E.The County hereby reserves the right to specify DfsuIface,Drcracking Dfpavement shall bc repaired immediately by and at 1hesDlc expense of1he <br />Permittee for a period of one year following acceptance of the work.
