leakage and/or.infiltration with rubber gasket in.confoIDlance with Section <br />65-1:06 of the California Standard Specifications.or with other methods ~may be permitted under tIre Special Provisions.. <br />C.Cast-in.-place concrete pipe,vitrified clay pipe.spiral weIded steel pipe.or conugated aluminum alfoy pipe shall not be installed within the County road <br />rights-of-way unless specifically so stated in.the Speci81 Provisions,and only under the conditions as provided... <br />D.AlI structures to be buried within the County rights-of-way shall be set at such elevations as to allow minimum covera.:,creof thirty inches (3D")to the <br />centerline of the roadways and twelve inches (12'1 at the bottoms of borrow ditches each side of the roadways.The depths Dfstructures shall excavation(s)shall'be compacted by ponding orjetting unjess amaintenance bond is provided. <br />Gravel backfill material shall be utilized only where specifically so stated on the face of the permit.It shall be compacted by means of aJUgh-frequency <br />in.tem:al vibrator,the compactor to be a size and type approved by the Engineer.Points of compaction shall nDt be greater than 18"centers aild to the full <br />depth ofilie lift.. <br />All pavements.curbs,gutters,sidewalks,borrow.ditches,pipes,head walls,road signs,trees,shrubbery,and/or other permanent road facilities impaired by <br />or as a result of construction operations attlie c6nstruction site(s)occupied by materials and/or equipment,shall be restored immediately upon backfilling of <br />the excavation to the original grades and cross sections,and to a condition as good as.or betierthan existing prior to CODStr11ction. <br />All surfacing materials of roadways and driveway approaches cut or damaged by or as areswt of construction.operations.shall be replaced within.'QNE <br />WEEK following the backfilling of excavatio~weather permitting,with compacted layers ofsurfacingmateriaIs at least as thick as the existing,.and no lessthantwoinches(2"')of asphalt concrete over six inches (6)of aggregate base~both as specified below..,.• <br />-1-."Asphalt Concrete:Combined minernl aggregate shaIl conform to the qu£!ity and gradation requirements for Type "B".Olle-half inch(V2) <br />m.aximum aggregate,coarse or medium gradation as specifi~in Section 39 of the California Standard Specilications.The bituminous binder to <br />be mixed with mineral aggregate shaIl be paving asphalt havmg (Grade PG 64-10),unless otherwise directed by the Engineer_Placement of <br />asphalt CODl4etesurfacing shall conform to the applicable provisions ofSection39 of the C¥ifornia Standard Specifications. <br />2.Agiregate Base:Combined mineral aggregates shaIl conform to the qu£!ity and the grading for tilree-quarter inch (3/4")maximuno size <br />aggregate Class 2 Aggregate Base specified in Section 26 of the California Standard Specifioations. <br />Before acceptanoe oftepairs to the County road rlghts-<Jf-way,all
