<br />maintenance of me said encroachment stucture,until such time as the Permitree may be relieved of me responsibility for such mailltenance
<br />by the County of San Joaquin.

<br />County Department ofPuhlic Works.

<br />at the sale expense of me Permittee.
<br />7.No material used ror fill or backfill in the construction of the encroachment shall be borrowed or tl'.ken from within the County right ofway.
<br />E.All work shall be planned and carried out with as little inco~verrience as possible to the traveling public.No material shall be stacked
<br />-within eight feet (8')ofthe edge of me pavement or traveled way unless otherwise provided herein..Adequate provision shall be made for
<br />the protection oftbe traveling public.Traffic con,trol standards shall be utilized including barricades;app.roved signs and lights;and
<br />flagmen,as required by the particular "WOrk:inprogress ..
<br />9.The Permittee,by the acceptance oftills permit,shall assume full responsibility for allli2..bility for-personal injUt.y or damage to property
<br />which may arise out of me work here~pemritted or which may arise out ofille failure ofille part ofllie Permittee to properly perform the
<br />work provided under this penn:it.In the event any claim of such liability is made against the County of San Joaquin or any department,

<br />.10.All backfill material isto be moistened as neceSS8q and thoroughly compacted wtill mechanical means.IfreqUired by the County Director
<br />of Public Works,such backfill shall consist of gravel or crusbed rock.The Pehnittee shall maintain the surface over structures placed
<br />hereunder as may be necessary to insure tberetum afthe roa-dway to a completely stable condition and uutil relieved of such responsibility
<br />by the Co.unty Department of Public Works.,Wherever a gravel,crushed rock or asphalt Slll-face is removed or damaged in the DOUTSeof
<br />workre1ated 1:0 me permitted encroachment,such material shall either be separately stored and replaced in the roadw.ay as nearly as
<br />possible in rl.S original state or shall be replaced in kind,and the roadway shall be left ill at least as good a condJtion as it was before the
<br />commencement of operations of placing the encroacbmellt sUucture.
<br />1L ViThenever it becomes necessary to secure pe.rmission from abutting property owners for the proposed work,such authority must be secured
<br />by the Pen:n1ttee prior to starting 'work.
<br />12.The ClliIeut and future safety and convenience of the traveling public shall be given every.consideration in the IDcation and ~emods of
<br />consirucnon utilized.
