<br />MONUMENTS WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA, AFTER THE COMPLETED MAJOR ROAD
<br />RE -CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.
<br />FOUR CALTRANS BRASS CAPPED CONTROL MONUMENTS FROM STATE OF CALIFORNIA
<br />RIGHT OF WAY MAP 10 -SJ -132, SHEETS 4-9 (REFERENCE [1]), WERE FOUND AND
<br />TIED - #112, #132, #152, AND #183. THESE FOUR CONTROL MONUMENTS WERE
<br />DETERMINED TO BE THE BEST REMAINING EVIDENCE OF THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY
<br />LOCATION. THEY WERE HELD FOR RE-ESTABLISHING THE CALTRANS ROW IN ITS
<br />RECORD LOCATION.
<br />THE SECTION CORNER MONUMENTS COMMON TO SECTIONS 25-30-31-36 AND
<br />30-29-32-31 ARE NOT THE IDENTICAL MONUMENTS TO THOSE USED IN REFERENCE
<br />[1]. THE 16" DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SECTION LINE BEARING AND THE
<br />RIGHTS-OF-WAY BEARINGS IS A RESULT OF HOLDING THE CALTRANS CONTROL
