Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a <br />minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving has been completed. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless <br />otherwise noted. <br />6. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of HMA <br />Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of HMA surfacing. <br />Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) <br />or more fully compacted layers. <br />7. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at 0.25 gallon per <br />square yard. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place, unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct <br />earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage <br />9. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing of all facilities <br />constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour notice to the County. All testing must conform <br />to the Standard Specifications. All re -testing will be paid by the Contractor. <br />10.
