For Clover Road, Variable HMA Overlay with 0.25' at the centerline with the roadway slope of 2% must be placed in two (2) layers of approximately equal thickness with Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (Paving Fabric) placed on the existing surface. c 2. For Williamson Road, Plane 0.25' AC and Place 0.25' HMA which must be placed in two (2) layers of approximately equal thickness with Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (Paving Fabric) placed between the layers. o 3. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the final layer of HMA Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted on the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more compacted layers. 4. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at [,rLei 0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to 67, m intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. r7l� ;U 5. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. 7. Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. 8. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline paving has been completed. 9. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise stated. 10. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain in place unless otherwise noted. 11. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing drainage. 12. There are eight (8) bollards and a wooden pole along the north side of Williamson Road from Sta 13+71 to Sta 14+78 that are to removed and are to be considered included in the payment price for Clearing and Grubbing.
