For Clover Road, Variable HMA Overlay with 0.25' at the centerline with the roadway <br />slope of 2% must be placed in two (2) layers of approximately equal thickness with <br />Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (Paving Fabric) placed on the existing surface. <br />c <br />2. For Williamson Road, Plane 0.25' AC and Place 0.25' HMA which must be placed in two <br />(2) layers of approximately equal thickness with Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer (Paving <br />Fabric) placed between the layers. <br />o <br />3. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing the <br />final layer of HMA Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited or drifted <br />on the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds 0.50' in <br />thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more compacted layers. <br />4. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment at <br />[,rLei <br />0.25 gallon/square yard. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to <br />67, <br />m <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />r7l� <br />;U <br />5. The Contractor must be responsible for adequately scheduling the inspection and testing <br />E <br />of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hours notice to the <br />ro <br />� <br />County. The Contractor must exercise due caution and carefully preserve survey bench marks, <br />control points, reference points and all survey stakes, and must bear all expenses for <br />replacement and/or errors caused by their unnecessary loss or disturbance. <br />7. Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair has <br />been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />8. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline paving has <br />been completed. <br />9. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise stated. <br />10. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must remain <br />in place unless otherwise noted. <br />11. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The Contractor <br />must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the existing <br />drainage. <br />12.
