(A) From Sto 11+00 to Sto 36+00: 0.25' Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay must be placed in two <br />(2) layers of approximately equal thickness with Geosynthetic Interlayer (Paving fabric) <br />placed between the layers. <br />From Sta 36+00 to Sta 61+75: 0.25' Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay must be placed in two <br />(2) layers of approximately equal thickness. <br />(B) Adhere to the specific stationing limits and surface preparations as shown in the four <br />(4) typical sections on this sheet. <br />2. Placement of HMA Overlay must not begin until the HMA used in Pavement Repair <br />has been in place for a minimum of 18 hours. <br />3. Placement of HMA Driveways must not begin until the HMA used for Mainline Paving <br />has been completed. <br />4. Existing highway and utility facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />5. Existing trees, shrubs, fences, mailboxes and other frontage improvements must <br />remain in place unless otherwise noted. <br />6. Existing drainage facilities must remain in place unless otherwise noted. The <br />Contractor must conduct earthwork operations so as not to modify or obstruct the <br />existing drainage. <br />7. All Earthwork, except for final shoulder grading, must be completed prior to placing <br />the final layer of HMA Pavement. No Shoulder Backing material will be deposited <br />or drifted on the final layer of HMA surfacing. Where the shoulder placement exceeds <br />0.50' thickness, the Shoulder Backing must be placed in two (2) or more fully <br />compacted layers. <br />8. Shoulder Backing material at all intersection radii must receive Penetration Treatment <br />at 0.25 GAL/SQYD. Limits of the Penetration Treatment work must be confined to <br />intersection radii plus fifty feet (50') in each direction or to the intersection conform. <br />9. The Contractor will be responsible for adequately scheduling inspection and testing <br />of all facilities constructed under this contract with a minimum 24 hour notice to <br />the County. All testing must conform to the Standard Specifications. All re—testing <br />will be paid by the Contractor. <br />10. The Contractor must obtain an Encroachment Permit from Stanislaus County for <br />traffic control or any work within the Stanislaus County jurisdiction. Payment for <br />this will be considered to be included in the various items of work. <br />11. The Contractor must obtain all permits and licenses required for the construction <br />and completion of the project, and must perform all work in accordance with the <br />requirements and conditions of all permits and approvals applicable to the project. <br />12.
