A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank <br /> usage must be performed prior to recordation of deed or record of survey (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)): A nitrate loading study is required and a <br /> review fee of$ 435.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel.
