To prevent the transfer of any contamination to vehicles, <br /> administrative area and other personnel, the following procedures <br /> must be followed. <br /> �y <br /> 1. ':Whenever possible, field equipment should be decontami- <br /> nated with a solution of Alconox or similar detergent <br /> sand thoroughly rinsed with water prior to leaving the <br /> ..site. This must be done outside a safe radius of any <br /> ''work area. In situations where it is not <br /> � possible to <br /> 'Idecontaminate field equipment on site, double-bag each <br /> J�piece of equipment, and transport back to home base for <br /> immediate decontamination in a designated area. <br /> ii <br /> i< <br /> i� <br /> 2 . ;;'Disposable PPE (for example, Tyvak suits and inner <br /> 1llatex gloves) must be bagged and disposed of at the <br /> 11site.
