Current work is <br /> to include four auger and/or rotary drilled test borings which <br /> will be immediately destroyed (backfilled per County regulations) <br /> upon completion of drilling . <br /> Borings will. be 3 to 4-inches in diameter and 35-50 ft in <br /> depth located per plan attached . Laboratory testing on soil <br /> samples obtained from the borings will include various strength <br /> and classification tests. None of the borings are for permanent <br /> use and no chemical analysis is planned for soil or water obtained <br /> from the borings . <br /> Destruction of the borings is proposed by means of combination <br /> cement and bentonite slurry pumped into the hole (from the bottom- <br /> up) through drill rod or pipe . <br /> Very truly yours , <br /> TABER CONSULTANTS <br /> ot <br /> G.
