It has hoses attached to to soda <br /> syrup boxes and has hoses that go:int the ceiling for beer taps and soda machine. <br /> A leak of CO2 could potentially happen from a leak in the tank or leaks in any of the <br /> lines from the tank. 1 <br /> CO2 is a colorless, odorless gas with a slight acidic taste. Avoid breathing vapors and <br /> evacuate downwind area if material is leaking. If the leak is in the walk-in refrigerator, <br /> do not go inside. <br /> Hazards and precautions: <br /> Inhalation: <br /> Acute inhalations at concentration of 2 10% may cause acidic taste, dyspnea, <br /> headache, vertigo, nausea, labored b athing, weakness, drowsiness, mental <br /> confusion, and increased blood press re, pulse and respiration rate. Exposure to 10% <br /> for a few minutes can cause visual dis urbances, tinnitus, tremors, profuse sweating, <br /> restlessness and discomfort. Asphxia can occur. Exposure to concentrations of 2-0- <br /> 30% <br /> 530% may cause coma and convulsion within 1 minute. Concentrations of 50% may <br /> cause symptoms of hypocalcamia ind ing corpopedal spasms. High vapor <br /> concentrations may cause stinging sensation in the eyes. <br /> First aid for inhalation: <br /> Remove person to fresh air immedisty. Seek medical attention If symtoms are severe <br /> or worsen. if breathing stops give art rcial respiration. Maintain airway and blood <br /> pressure until medical personei arrive. Keep person warm. A qualified person can <br /> administer 02 if available. <br /> Liquid contact: <br /> Liquid contact to the skin may cause frostbite with redness, tingling, pain or numbness. <br /> Skin may become hard and white andidevelop blisters.
