This law
requires businesses who handle or store hazardous materials above 55 gallons, 500 pounds or
200 cubic feet to complete and file a Hazardous Materials Management Plan with the local
Administering Agency. In San Joaquin County, the Office of Emergency Services is the
Administering Agency.
As part of this program, our office collects fees to manage the program and to fund the county's
hazardous materials response team. The annual fees for your business consist of a $240.00
base fee and $15.00 per reportable hazardous material. The reportable materials listed in
your inventory are: diesel, motor oil, waste oil, and oxygen.
The original due date for your Hazardous Materials Management Plan was September 14, 1991,
with final acceptance of the plan June 26, 1992.
Please call if I can answer any further questions.
Sincerel ,
Je 8ri gs'
Hazardous Materials Specialist
JB/ss
Enclosure
