Tesla has
reviewed the items identified in the inspection report and respectfully submits the following
information in response. We have enumerated each of the conditions alleged along with Tesla's
response for each item respectively.
1. HSC 25506 (a)(1) Failed to complete and/or submit hazardous materials inventory for
all reportable materials on site. 400 gallons of diesel in fire pump room and 150
gallons of diesel in the generator were found on site that have not been reported.
RESPONSE: It appears that there was a technical glitch when the initial submission was made
such that this information was inadvertently omitted. The quantities of the diesel in the fire pump
room and in the generator were uploaded to CERS while the inspector was on site. (Attachment
A—"Diesel fuel CERS uploads")
2. HSC 25505(a)(2) Failed to complete and/or submit a site map with all required content.
The site map is missing an evacuation staging area.
RESPONSE: The site map was updated to identify the evacuation staging area and uploaded to
CERS while the inspector was on site. (Attachment B —Maps)
We believe that we are fully compliant with the requirements and have attached the Return to
Compliance Certification (Attachment C) as of June 6, 2018.
