Weber Avenue, Courthouse-RM 61 CA SAN pp
UINNTY
Stockton, CA 95202 OFFICE OF EMERGENCOY SERVICES
Dear Mr. Lopez:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation, on May 19th, a spill of approximately 20 gallons
of Citgo Glycol FR-40XD Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid(water glycol) occurred around
6:30AM when a flexible hydraulic tube ruptured fluid in the robot cell area on to the
floor. The fluid was within the facility, recovered in a vacuum, and contained in a D.O.T.
approved 55 gallon container. The contingency plan implemented was to replace all
the flexible hydraulic tubing with double steel-walled tubing, consequently improving
the wear capabilities.(Completed on 5/21/95) Arrangements for proper disposal of the
waste will be made in the near future.
Please contact me at(209)983-6160 if you require any additional information
concerning this Incident.
Sincerel
Raul Ragunton
Environmental Specialist
Cc: Ed Eckenroth
Mark Schmink
Chuck Jordan
1550 Industrial Drive • Stockton, CA 95206 • Tel.
