Heinz Company has announced an agreement to spin off <br /> certain of its U.S. and North American businesses and merge them with Del Monte Foods <br /> Company (the "Transaction"). In order to facilitate the separation of the Heinz businesses, <br /> Heinz has formed DLM Foods L.L.C. as the new company for Del Monte's future business <br /> operations in Pittsburgh. <br /> As a part of achieving a smooth separation, supplier invoice processing for DLM <br /> Foods began on September 26, 2002. You should begin directing your invoices to DLM <br /> Foods effective immediately. This coincides with our activation of the separate systems <br /> infrastructure for the Pittsburgh-based businesses being spun off to Del Monte.
