November 21, 2016
To: Nicholas Loehrer
Re: Farmington Fresh Hazardous Materials On -Site Inspection Report
Nicholas,
Attached below is description of our activities in response to your inspection report.
Areas of Concern Corrective Actions Response
1) Leaking 5 gal bucket of in the bone yard.
Action: We removed the oil for waste disposal, and removed the soil around the bucket, the soil is
in 55 gal drums awaiting further testing and removal from site.
2) Discoloration in dirt at culls area.
Action: We have an open internal corrective action previously to address the cull bin apple juice
that is causing the discoloration of the dirt ditch. During our management meeting held week of
11/21 we are consulting outside contractors to bid on creating a cement surrounding area for the
storage and holding the bins to container the apple juice and allow routine clean-up. Reference
attachment 1 pdf Corrective Action 047.
3) Full containers in the empty storage containers storage area.
Action: Currently we are moving and checking each individual container from the area with
labeling, serrating empties from one that have liquid within them. We are finding the
liquid inside is what is labeled on the outside. Some of the containers were partial used
and others were just no longer used and had been placed in this location. All empty
containers are being removed.
