HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMPLOYEE TRAINING RECORD SAVECO DISTRIBUTORS TRAINING DATE: 09/18/2018 • SaveCo Distributor Facility is smoke free and smoking is profited inside the facility. • Follow all established procedures and perform job duties as you've been trained. • Be cautious and plan ahead. Think about what could go wrong and pay close attention to what you're doing while you work. • Report any damaged butane or bleach product containers to your supervisor right away. • Never eat or drink while handling any materials and if your hands are contaminated, don't use cosmetics or handle contact lenses. • Call 911 for emergency assistance Facility evacuation • See the map attached on page 3 for emergency evacuation & hazardous material location • Emergency assembly area is located across the street on Teepee (see map) • Verbal (i.e. evacuate) will be shouted to begin evacuation. No smoking. Avoid breathing gas. Monitor for leaks, ruptures and pressure build up. • Response: Leaking gas fire: Do not extinguish, unless leak can be stopped safely. Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. If inhaled: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Call a poison center, doctor or emergency 911 medical clinics if you feel unwell. • Storage: Keep away from fire, sparks and heated surfaces. No smoking near areas where material is stored or handled. The product should only be stored and handled in areas with intrinsically safe electrical classification. FIRST AID MEASURES: • Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Give oxygen. Seek medical attention. • Skin contact: For exposure to liquid, immediately warm frostbite area with warm water not to exceed 105°F (41°C). In case of massive exposure, remove contaminated clothing while showering with warm water. Obtain medical attention.
