i 0
EVACUATION PROCEDURES
1. Should an evacuation be required, the order to evacuate will be given by one of
the emergency coordinators.
For a list of emergency coordinators, please see the "KEY PERSONNEL" page
in the Appendix.
2. Employees will immediately cease operations and proceed to the nearest exit.
3. All employees will meet at the Evacuation Meeting Point and report to the
supervisor. The emergency coordinators will take an employee count using the
management chain. All employees unaccounted for should be found by the fire
department - DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. The evacuation meeting point is
listed in the Appendix.
4. If at any time employees are injured by a spill or a fire, report it to one of the
emergency coordinators. The emergency coordinator (or an ambulance) will
transport those employees to the closest medical facility listed in the Appendix.
If the injury is chemically related, a copy of the appropriate Material Safety Data
Sheet should accompany the injured person to the hospital.
5. Do not re-enter until it has been determined that it is safe to do so by one of the
Emergency Coordinators.
