AMERICAN TOWER'
COR 1 O n.T 1 O N
January 21, 2014
San Joaquin County Environmental Health
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton,CA 95205
RE: Removal from HMBP Program
American Towers—Howard Road CA-Site#41147
7878 Undine Road
Stockton,CA 95206
CERSID#10405810
To Whom it may concern:
American Tower Corporation ("ATC") has historically reported inventories of hazardous materials stored
at the above-referenced site through the Hazardous Materials Business Plan ("HMBP") program. As you
are probably aware, these inventories are not owned or operated by ATC, but by our tenant,Verizon.
ATC received confirmation from CERS,Verizon's ID 10143545,that the hazardous materials inventories
owned/operated by Verizon Wireless are currently reported as required under the California Health &
Safety Code. ATC feels it is in our mutual interest to stop double-reporting these inventories since the
objective of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act("EPCRA"), providing hazardous
material storage information to the public, is being met by the current hazardous materials
owner/operator.
Thus, unless directed otherwise,ATC will not recertify the current HMBP prepared and submitted to
your office. However, in the unlikely event our tenant stops reporting their hazardous materials
inventory,ATC will resume filing the HMBP to ensure we are in compliance with EPCRA.
Please call me at (602) 284-0280 or via email at scot.sandefur@americantower.com if you have any
questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
American Tower Corporation
Scot D.D.
