EI Dorado St. Stockton
1048 Waterloo Rd. Stockton
1304 E. Hammer Lane Stockton
Dear Mr. Baldwin;
About the time we received your survey, we had just contracted with a Carbon dioxide
supplier to ins tall a tank with a capacity of up to 400 pounds at each of out locations.
Before this time we had a maximum of two 50 Ib and one 20 Ib tanks on hand at any one
time. Two of the three locations had not been, as yet, installed.
Upon receiving your letter with its 20 + pages of instructions, we realized that the
knowledge, cost and time required to implement and manage this program was not
practical for our purposes. We decided this, even though the instructions in you packet
seemed to indicate that the quantities we would have on hand at any one time, would
not require us to have an HHMP.
We immediately notified the supplier to stop refilling the container in order to allow the
contents of the tank to fall below 137 lbs.
On this date December 11, 1998 all three tanks were removed from the above locations
and replaced with two carbon dioxide cylinders, each containing approximately 50 lbs. of
carbon dioxide. Additionally, we have left instructions with out staff as well as our
supplier that we do not wish to have over 120 lbs of CO2 on the premises under any
circumstances.
Lastly, I wish to acknowledge you letter of December 1,1998 which gave us the time to
complete these tasks and respond to your office.
Yours Truly,
George Badway
Eddies Pizza Cafe's
