SCHUFF STEEL Schuff Steel Company Stockton Plant Second Sift PLANT EMERGENCY EVACUATION / NOTIFICATION PLAN: • In the event of fire, gas leak or other condition requiring evacuation from the plant, Foremen and Leadmen will be notified by hand held radios. • Upon hearing the announcement to evacuate, employees are to proceed to the nearest safe exit and leave the building. Foremen will be posted at areas along both dirt driveways to direct employees where to go. • After exiting the building, employees are to assemble in one of two designated areas depending on the circumstances of the emergency. o Area one is at the North West corner of the front office. o Area Two is at the East side in the front yard area of the plant by the shop. • No employee is to re-enter the building until the all clear is given by the Fire Department or Schuff Steel Incident Commander. PLANT AND BUILDING EVACUATION PROCEDURES: The Stockton Plant has been divided into Area Department (ZONES). Each ZONE will have a primary and alternate "Evacuation Monitor" to sweep the area and ensure everyone is clear from that ZONE during an evacuation. After exiting a building, employees are to walk to the main dirt driveway that runs East and West through the plant for directions to the appropriate assembly area. Foremen with hand-held radios will be positioned at strategic posts along the dirt driveways to direct employees to an assembly area. Department (ZONE) Evacuation Monitors are to sweep their assigned areas and report to the Foremen when the total evacuation of their Zone has been completed.
