SCHUFF STEEL <br />Schuff Steel Company <br />Stockton Plant <br />Second Sift <br />PLANT EMERGENCY EVACUATION / NOTIFICATION PLAN: <br />• In the event of fire, gas leak or other condition requiring evacuation from the plant, <br />Foremen and Leadmen will be notified by hand held radios. <br />• Upon hearing the announcement to evacuate, employees are to proceed to the nearest <br />safe exit and leave the building. Foremen will be posted at areas along both dirt <br />driveways to direct employees where to go. <br />• After exiting the building, employees are to assemble in one of two designated areas <br />depending on the circumstances of the emergency. <br />o Area one is at the North West corner of the front office. <br />o Area Two is at the East side in the front yard area of the plant by the shop. <br />• No employee is to re-enter the building until the all clear is given by the Fire Department <br />or Schuff Steel Incident Commander. <br />PLANT AND BUILDING EVACUATION PROCEDURES: <br />The Stockton Plant has been divided into Area Department (ZONES). Each ZONE will have a <br />primary and alternate "Evacuation Monitor" to sweep the area and ensure everyone is clear <br />from that ZONE during an evacuation. <br />After exiting a building, employees are to walk to the main dirt driveway that runs East and <br />West through the plant for directions to the appropriate assembly area. <br />Foremen with hand-held radios will be positioned at strategic posts along the dirt driveways <br />to direct employees to an assembly area. <br />Department (ZONE) Evacuation Monitors are to sweep their assigned areas and report to the <br />Foremen when the total evacuation of their Zone has been completed. <br />
