State of California Department of Corrections&Rehabilitation <br /> Memorandum <br /> JUN 2 8 2016 <br /> Date June 20, 2016 [ �t i t`f T-'- <br /> 11 <br /> r�lM�p1Y <br /> To San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> Attn.: Elena Manzo, Senior REHS <br /> From: CDCR - Deuel Vocational Institution <br /> SUBJECT: Return to Compliance Statement <br /> This is to inform you that several deficiencies as indicated in Above ground Petroleum Storage Act <br /> Inspection Report at Deuel Vocational Institution, have been corrected as specified below: <br /> #102 HSC 25270.4.5(a) - failed to properly close a tank that is considered permanently <br /> closed. <br /> Labels for empty tanks have been changed from OUT OF SERVICE to PERMANENTLY CLOSED. <br /> Photo is attached. <br /> #720 DFR 112.8©(11) -failed to provide sufficient secondary containment capacity for mobile <br /> or portable containers. <br /> The portable 100 gallons single wall diesel fuel tank that is used for refilling emergency generators <br /> fuel tanks, are now being placed on the sufficient secondary containment when stored in the <br /> garage.
