A service and Expense Contract for Line Integrity Testing and Monitor Certifications will be sent <br /> out for bid by September 19, 2016. <br /> ? Award of contract will be approximately October 17, 2016 <br /> ? Services estimated to be complete by November 1, 2016 (depending on scheduling of <br /> contractor) including the following: <br /> o Fuel supply and return line integrity test at RO Plant <br /> o Interstitial and sump sensor testing and repair at RO Plant <br /> o Secondary Containment line integrity test at Boiler House AST's <br /> o Re-certify Incon TS 1000 EFI monitoring system at Boiler House AST's <br /> o Re-Certify Veeder Root monitoring system at Wastewater Plant AST <br /> ? The 400 gallon tank at the Freshwater Booster Station will be replaced with an approved double <br /> wall AST.The 180 gallon tanks on the Ditch pumps will be replaced with approved double wall <br /> tanks.The single wall portable tank at the garage will be replaced with an approved double wall <br /> tank. <br /> o Purchase requisition completion by September 16, 2016 <br /> o Fabrication of tanks estimated to be November 25, 2016 <br /> o Estimated delivery of tanks December 9, 2016 <br /> o Installation of tanks December 30, 2016 <br /> ? Two "permanently closed"tanks at the PIA Dairy will be sent to a metal recycler; Estimated <br /> completion by September 9, 2016. <br /> ? All violations pertaining to the SPCC plan will be corrected within 30 days of installation of new <br /> tanks at the Fresh Water Booster station and Ditch pumps. <br /> CDCR recognizes the importance of a timely response to all violations and is processing the necessary <br /> contract documents as quickly as possible within the guidelines required under the State Contract <br /> Manual, Department of General Service rules and other required procurement procedures. Staff at DVI <br /> will continue to observe all single wall tanks on a weekly basis while waiting for the upgraded equipment <br /> to be installed. In the event any of the estimated milestones are met in advance or will need to be <br /> extended you will be notified immediately. <br /> Your understanding and assistance with the efforts being made by DVI staff are greatly <br /> appreciated.
