State of California <br />Memorandum <br />Date July 17, 2017 <br />To San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Attn.: Elena Manzo, Senior REHS <br />From: CDCR - Deuel Vocational Institution <br />SUBJECT: Return to Compliance Statement <br />Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation <br />nscpft � f 'r r... <br />0 3 2018 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br />ALTH <br />This Statement is to respond to the Aboveground Storage Act Inspection Report at Deuel <br />Vocational Institution on several deficiencies that have been noted during facility inspection on May <br />24-25, 2016, as specified below: <br />The violation identified as #727 as failure to conduct integrity and leak test on buried piping any time <br />it is worked on, refferring to underground pipes at the emergency generator belly tank and at the <br />diesel AST located at the water treatment plant. This violatation has been corrected on June 29, <br />2017 by conducting required integrity test by qualified technician from Confidence UST Services, <br />Inc. Copy of final test results is attached. <br />Violations #201, 301, 303 referencing the DVI SPCC plan have been addressed with a revised <br />SPCC plan that has been submitted to the Archetictural and Engineering Department of CDCR and <br />now is in final approval stage by Professional Engineers from Design and Environmental Services & <br />Standards Branch of above mentioned department.
