This training covers emergency response procedures which incorporates all aspects <br />of emergency response including SPCC procedures. Each employee at the fire department is at a <br />minimum a certified "Hazmat Technician". Several are certified "California State Specialist" and a few <br />are certified "Incident Commanders". Along with the continuous formal training, the DESJC Tracy and <br />Sharpe Fire departments hold quarterly emergency response drills covering SPCC procedures. DESJC fire <br />department has a training coordinator assigned to make sure each employee meets all training <br />requirements.
