San Juan Avenue, Stockton, Ca. Dear Sir: I was dismayed to receive your notice of April 16, 1992 regard- ing incomplete or ineligible claim. I believe this response will answer any further questions you may have. 1) Per San Joaquin County File - William Corrigan met with County personnel at site December 30, 1987 - discussions included site review requirements. 2) Per San Joaquin County File - Mr. Seeley of Roy Weston Co. discussed site assessment with County personnel on January 27, 1988 and January 29, 1988. 3) William Corrigan died on February 5, 1988. Per San Joaquin County File - his daughter, Theresa Corrigan, contacted Environmental Health on March 1, 1988 to have documentation sent to her. 4) Copy of a March 16, 1988 letter to Theresa from Environ- mental Health is enclosed. It requires a work plan and proposal to be submitted prior to any site activity. 5) Copy of a March 21, 1988 proposal from an environmental company solicited by Theresa Corrigan to provide the work plan as required. 6) Due to the death of the owner and the legal requirements of the court system, the heirs were not contractually allowed to proceed until probate had been settled. Probate was settled on August 23, 1990. A complete copy of the Distribution Decree is included.
