Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br />training from the manufacturer of that component. <br />Qualified installers must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br />individual physically present at the work site, at all times while work is being performed, <br />who possesses all of the following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and <br />b. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code <br />Council (ICC), that are applicable to the work being performed, and <br />c. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />And in addition <br />d. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of <br />training from the manufacturer of that component. <br />Permit expires 180 days from date of approval.
