EXPLORER 11.1200 series SUCTION PUMPS AND REMOTE CONTROLLED DISPENSING PEDESTALS -SINGLES AND TWINS Computer — All models utilize the Veeder-Root 2002E, 4 -wheel computer for money -gallon display. Non -computing models—Incorporate wheel type Model 101, which registers gallons delivered only. Operating lever—Single step automatic reset, requiring a simple, single movement. Power reset—Electric power reset is standard on all models. A simple flick of the operating lever turns on pump motor and resets the computer. Dials—Full width, painted dials are con- veniently located at motorist's eye -level. Easily removed for servicing and inspection. Illuminated advertising panels—Avail- able, if specified, 24" x 3", front and rear, on lighted models only. Dial illumination—All lighted models are furnished with full-length fluorescent tubes, and built-in, rapid -start ballast. Dials and advertising areas are brightly illuminated. Numeral wheels—Protected from the elements by clear plastic openings in the dial face. Measuring unit—Tokheim vertical pis- ton, positive displacement meter. Accu- rate at any pressure and delivery rate. Combined pumping unit and air sepa- rator—High vacuum, rotary gear type, with hydraulic self-adjusting bypass and regulating valves, and morel metal strainer screen, 100 x 90 mesh. Standard motor—Intermittent duty, Y3 H.P., 115/230 Volt, A.C., 60 Hertz, single phase motor is standard on all single - and two -product suction pumps. One - product twin pump contains a contin- uous duty, 1/2 H.P. motor. High-speed pumps contain two 1/2 H.P. continuous duty motors. Frame construction—Sturdy, heavy steel members welded and bolted to form one solid structure. Doors—Front and rear, provide qoick access for installation and inspection of pump parts. Have locks and can be removed without the removal of screws or other fasteners. Retriv-a-Hose device—Nylon cable with Tokheim-designed retrieving reel. 12' of %" lightweight, heavy-duty hose for each outlet, furnished as standard. Speed—Ample delivery for handling peak hour business. Delivery up to 15 G.P.M.= for standard suction pump. Delivery of remote control dispenser is related to the capacity of the submerged pump and the number of dispensers on each submerged pump. Inlet fittings -1'h" ground joint union type on all models, with centerline loca- tion of suction stub. Light switch—Contained in a Class I Group D Hazardous Location housing. Button is hidden in the end skin of the dispenser to discourage unauthorized actuation. Insulation—The pumping units and the electric motor are mounted on Buna N insulating grommets to eliminate vibra- tion and noise. Locking device—Nozzle can be pad- locked to nozzle hook. Tokheim hydraulic control valve— Used in all remote control pedestals and single -product twin suction pump mod- els. Hydraulic action of the valve permits smooth, easy operation, thus removing strain from the actuation mechanism. Assures a balanced system with full con- trol and shockproof, smooth flow. TOKHE/M LEADS—others follow! Finish—All external housings of highest quality, bright -annealed stainless steel. Doors and end panels are available in either bright -annealed stainless steel or high temperature baked acrylic enamel. All metal surfaces, other than stainless finish, are chemically cleaned before prime coat is applied, then finished in high temperature baked acrylic enamel. Materials and workmanship—Are of the very highest quality. Every pump and dispenser tested at the factory for accu- racy, at both fast and slow flow rates. Underwriters' label—All model versions listed, and carry Underwriters' Labora- tories label. Ticket printers—Available on certain models. Please consult the factory.
