Mr. Sam Savig
0.167 ppm (average of dispenser samples #11 and #12) to 0.009 ppm, a factor of nearly 20X. Depth
to first groundwater at the site is expected to be approximately 45-50 feet based on San Joaquin
Control Flood Control District information (Attachment Q. The levels of residual MTBE present at
the base of the excavation would not have the capacity to degrade groundwater above MCLS. For
instance, a 50% attenuation of MTBE would result in a concentration below the State of California
secondary MCL of 0.005 ppm.
Based upon the extremely limited extent and magnitude of residual soil contamination, we recommend
no further action with respect to this fuel leak case.
If you have any questions or comments please contact Ground Zero at your earliest convenience.
Respectfully, GEo
Ground Zero Analysis Pc. p
GREGORY P.
