r R� <br />HAZARDOUS WASTE PROCEDURES <br />All containers of hazardous waste will have a completed Hazardous Waste Label attached to the <br />container before any material is placed in the container. See the instructions below for filling out <br />the Hazardous Waste Label. <br />Only the following waste containers will be used: <br />Paint Waste 55 gal. Drum Solvents, Acetone, Paint <br />Oily Solid Waste Tote Bin Used Absorbent, Oily Rags, Crushed Oil <br />Filters, Paint Booth Filters <br />Waste Oil 500 gal Tank Hydraulic oil, Engine oil, Gear oil <br />Diesel Fuel 55 gal. Drum Diesel Fuel only <br />Antifreeze 55 gal. Drum Antifreeze only <br />Machine Coolant 55 gal. Drum Blasser Coolant from Saw and Machine <br />Shop tools <br />Used Oil Filters 55 gal. Drum Used, drained filters prior to being crushed <br />Occasionally a special container may be required for a waste stream that is not covered by any of <br />the above containers. When this occurs, see the Environmental Manager for the correct labeling <br />procedures. <br />Hazardous wastes will only be accumulated for a maximum of 90 days. A schedule will be set <br />up for our waste disposal contractor to pick up every 90 days. <br />instructions for filling out the Hazardous Waste Label <br />The Paint Shop Foreman is responsible for seeing that all hazardous waste containers are labeled <br />in the manner set forth below.
