Date: <br />01/13/2018 <br />Manufacturer training: Incon Level 4, 04/08/18 <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />On site for the following inspections.- <br />-Visual <br />nspections:-Visual inspection of the diesel piping. All piping is contained within dispensers 1 and 2/3. <br />-Verification of the dispenser footprints contained within the UDC sumps for dispensers 1 and 2/3. <br />-Secondary containment piping test (after concrete was poured) for 60 minutes - satellite piping 3 at 5.5 psi, satellite piping 2 at <br />5.5 psi, satellite piping 1 at 5 psi. Piping 2 passed. The pressure on piping 3 and piping 1 dropped to 5 and 4.6 psi, <br />respectively. Test was rerun at the current pressure. Piping 1 passed. Pressure on piping 3 increased to 6.1 psi. Test was <br />rerun at the current pressure. Passed. <br />-Secondary containment piping test on the main line in the trench with piping 3 for 60 minutes at 5 psi. Pressure dropped to <br />4.8 psi. Test was rerun at current pressure. Passed. <br />-Secondary containment of all four UDCs using an Incon tester. All passed. <br />-Verification of communication between piping secondary containment at the sensors in UDCs 1 and 2/3. Hoses have been <br />placed on the open communication to allow access to the valve holes from the top of the deep UDCs. These hoses were <br />unplugged at the time of inspection, and must remain unplugged and uncurved in a constant downward slope in order to <br />maintain appropriate communication. <br />-Sensor functionality of the sensors in UDCs 1 and 2/3. Both passed. <br />The following information must be submitted within 30 days: <br />-Analytical results <br />-Piping hazardous waste manifest <br />"Log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS), complete and submit a "UST Certification of <br />Installation/Modification form for UDC 1, UDC 2/3, satellite piping 2, and satellite piping 3 within 30 days of the replacement. <br />"SECONDARY CONTAINMENT TESTING FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS IS REQUIRED SIX MONTHS AFTER <br />INSTALLATION: <br />-SATELLITE UDC 1 <br />-SATELLITE UDC 2/3 <br />-SATELLITE PIPING 2 <br />-SATELLITE PIPING 3 <br />PROVIDED 48 HOURS NOTIFICATION TO THE EHD WHEN THIS TEST IS SCHEDULED <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
