Michael Kith [EH]
From: Cortez, Alberto <acortez@tresolutions.com>
Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2018 1:58 PM
To: Michael Kith [EH]
Cc: jrogie@cptinc.com; Leck, Scott
Subject: Request for On -Site Standby Inspector - Permit WP0038710 (1950 Port Road A,
Stockton)
Hi Michael,
As discussed over the phone today, we would like to request to have an inspector on-site on stand by to follow us to
observe the grouting as we complete each CPT (4 total to 100ft) for the project site located at 1950 Port Road A in
Stockton, CA under permit WP0038710. We understand and are willing to pay any additional permit fees for the
additional inspection time. I understand any additional fees will be billed to the C-57 contractor (CPT Inc.), however, we
(TRC -as the geotechnical consultants) will be paying the fees in place of the drilling contractor. Please email the
additional invoice to the emails listed here. The CPT work is scheduled to be completed Friday, August 31, 2018 with the
first CPT grouting starting at 9:OOAM. Please schedule an inspector to start at that time. Also, please have the inspector
call me once they arrive at the gate of the port of Stockton as they will require an escort if they don't have a TWIC card.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Alberto Cortez
Senior Staff Engineer
TRC
650-444-0629
