This facility reflected a lack of proper
maintenance. The following items need to be addressed in order to come into compliance with the
Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act;
1. The area within the secondary containment must be cleaned up and the free product removed.
2. The source of the diesel leakage within the containment area must be determined and repaired.
3. The waste oil tank area needs to be cleaned and improved procedures implemented to minimize
spillage within the containment structure.
4. Any containers or barrels used for storage of petroleum products must be removed or placed in a
secondary containment device.
By 21 April 2000,please submit a status report on the corrective action taken to resolve these items of
concern and a copy of your certified Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan (SPCC).
If you have any questions, please call me at(916) 255-3029.
G.
