F� inc . <br /> Technology In Support of the Environment. <br /> VR SYSTEMS LIMITED WARRANTY - USED/RECONDITIONED MACHINES <br /> A. MATERIAL & WORKMANSHIP <br /> VR SYSTEMS offers this limited warranty for a period of six (6 ) months to the used machine purchaser, on all machine <br /> components manufactured by VR SYSTEMS for its Vapor Extraction Systems (herein after " Machines" ), to be free from defects <br /> in materials and workmanship and agrees to either replace or repair free of charge any such product, component or part, thereof, <br /> which shall be returned to the nearest authorized VR SYSTEMS designated repair facility within six (6) months from date of <br /> delivery, transportation charges prepaid. Written notice of any claimed defect must be given to VR SYSTEMS upon discovery of, <br /> and within the six (6) month time period, in order for the warranty to apply. <br /> I <br /> 1 Some replacement parts may contain refurbished components and if so shall be equivalent to new products. The cost to <br /> diagnose such defects at the job site, if required, shall be for the account of the Purchaser, unless otherwise agreed upon in <br /> writing. Any product or component, or part thereof so replaced or repaired, shall be subject to the limited warranty of VR <br /> SYSTEMS for the remainder of the original warranty period or sixty (60) days, whichever is longer. Any and all such replacement <br /> or repairs necessitated by inadequate preventative maintenance, negligence, intentional harm, or by normal wear and usage, or by <br /> the fault of the purchaser or power sources supplied by others, or by attack and deterioration under unsuitable environmental <br /> conditions shall not be subject to this Limited Warranty. VR SYSTEMS shall not be obligated to pay any costs or charges <br /> including " back charges" incurred by the Purchaser or any other party as a result thereof. <br /> 8. ENGINE WARRANTY <br /> The engines installed in the machines are warranted for a period of six (6) months or 2000 hours, whichever occurs first. This <br /> warranty is on the basic engine (" Long Block" ), not including accessories such as: starter, alternator, plugs, wires, etc. <br /> C. MACHINE WARRANTY <br /> VR SYSTEMS warrants that the Vapor Extraction System will when properly maintained and operated according to the <br /> manufacturer's instructions, pull hydrocarbon vapors from wells properly located and drilled in contaminated soil, soil that will <br /> yield such vapor when subjected to a vacuum range of up to 18" HG, and destroy such vapors. Destruction efficiency may <br /> exceed 99 % in most cases. All source tests to date have indicated an efficiency in excess of 99 % . <br /> D. LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER <br /> EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY WARRANTED HEREIN BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OF VR SYSTEMS, THE VAPOR EXTRACTION <br /> SYSTEM IS ACCEPTED BY THE PURCHASER "AS IS", EXCLUDING ANY OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED , <br /> E.
